The Vampire's Thursday #1

Hello and happy Thursday!

To keep the players informed and myself in check every other Thursday I will be posting a devlog like this to inform what I am currently working on in the game! Any updates, major or minor, will also occur on these Thursdays! Exact time will be inconsistent but during the afternoon.

The contest the game was entered in is now over and as such updates can start being applied to the game! The first of these will occur in the next devlog and will be an update to Chapter1! Any updates may cause loss of saves and a way to get around this is currently in the "I need to find a way to do this" phase of development!

Chapter1 Updates

What are the updates coming to The Vampire's Tale Chapter1? I'm glad you asked!

The update will consist of two brand new locations in the Town area! These two will be dialogue heavy locations with lore drops for the curious players out there.

A certain character may also get a name change! I have developed a strong dislike of the characters name but I have not considered what the new one will be. It is not Jo or Harper who will be getting the name change.

Other than that some sections may be rewritten with a more complete list of what passages are rewritten when the update comes out.

Chapter2

When will the next chapter come out? Unclear at the moment. The broad strokes of Chapter2 have been formed but the exact writing process is taking its time in getting started.

Please consider leaving a rating if you enjoyed the game. It is a nice ego boost to a solo developer like me and also lets me know how the game is doing!

If any issues or glitches happened during a playthrough of the game let me know in the comments of this post or the main page of the game itself. This also applies to mistakes in grammar and spelling. There are proofreaders and spellcheck but even they might miss things so don't be afraid to flex your American English skills and correct me!
